Improve your golf game and add distance off the tee and in the fairway!

Personal trainer Jodi Garie will perform a golf fitness evaluation and customize a fitness program that will strengthen your golf game on and off the course.

Jodi has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and is a golf fitness instructor - certified by Titleist Performance Institute.

You will develop power and control in your golf game through a series of stability, mobility and strength exercises for your core muscles. Your putting game will still be up to you.

Core Strength - During your golf swing your core connects all the moving body parts around it. Your spine allows you to effectively transfer the forces from your legs to your upper body during your golf swing. Strong core muscles withstand those forces and help maintain proper spine angle throughout your swing. Our Howland Place Fitness Centerpersonal trainers will strengthen your core muscles allowing you to transfer more movement and power from your lower body to your upper body. This will also help prevent back injuries.

 

 

Upper Body Strength and Flexibility - Tiger Woods doesn’t have broad shoulders for nothing. Shoulder, forearm and wrist flexibility and strength are key factors in your golf swing. Our personal trainers will increase your flexibility and strengthen key muscles that will allow you to develop more power and club head speed.
